My new home will be at ~soaa. I have no time to update it yet, but it will come very soon. Perhaps tomorrow?

A few explanations:
- I'm starting to hate this name. Yes, I have invaded Google search results with sparxcg and sparx cg. And yet, [link] is still around and annoying me like hell.
- The capital X confuses people. Many call my Spar. And that's wrong.
- I thought of kikispark but it's a long name. I don't like long names.
- I still have the "spark" within me. soaa stands for Spark of an Awakening.

Note: This account will NOT be donated to the DA-Orphanage, I'm afraid Sparx will take over. And I don't want that to happen.

See you at ~soaa, all! I will make that my official and definitive net name.

Note 2: To all my friends and others too, you can still call me kiki or spark. No sparks or sparx or plural, it's singular now. And "sparks" is almost a tongue twister.

Some of you might have heard it in the news. Yesterday, Dawson College, the largest Pre-University in Quebec, was attacked by a gunman, 1 killed and 19 injured. It happened at around 1PM. The police went in and shot him down, he died before they were able to bring him to the hospital.

My school is very close to Dawson College, in fact, I walk by that place every morning from the subway to school. After the incident, the whole area was locked down from fear of an accomplice. People at my school weren't allowed to leave unless parents pick us up. And there was no real point in leaving alone, as the buses and subway are shut down. We had to stay after class.

My friend got his dad to pick him up, he gave meand another friend a lift. Many thanks to him and his dad.

Well... First off I'd like to thank you all for giving me 4k!

And then... Well, this is my first weekend since back to school. My teachers seem pretty nice this year, but the classes seem a bit more boring than last year's.

I'm having my first arts period on Tuesday, can't wait to see what the new teacher has in store for us. I hope it's not too constraining so I can apply my style. Sometimes they just make us do unreal, unrelated and uninsteresting stuff.

And that's about it, for some reason I don't feel too bad about going back to school.

I'll be lurking around here, maybe once in a while I'll stick a new deviation in my gallery. I still owe two things to two people.

I went to the dentist this morning for a regular checkup and cleanup. I just found out I have two cavities.

I went to the optometrist in the afternoon, and the news there was good. Not much worsening of my short-sighted-ness. It's bad enough already. =\ The also did a pupil dilatation to look into my eyes. The stuff made me very sensitive to light for the next few hours.

After the eye doctor, I went to an art store and got some sketching pencils and inking pens. ^_^ Two Pilot Fineliners and a Pilot 01 DR Drawing Pen. Awesomeness to follow.

Some of you know, some of you don't, but I worked at Toys R Us for the last 3 months. My contract ended and I got laid off. =\ Good news is that I found another job right after that, a much less boring one. Island Inkjet. I refill inkjet cartridges, a good cheap and clean alternative to buying a new one. Only one problem, my hands get rather dirty at the end of a shift.

The new v5 layout... It isn't bad, it isn't perfect. It does feel more "modern" and "up-to-date" but I'm still quite fond of v4. Well, I'll see how it goes after more browsing.
